You’ll reserve this packaging for non-perishable products, like coffee, tea, seasonings, salty snacks, dried fruit, and nuts. Flexible packaging normally takes the shape of standup pouches, laminated tubes, or vacuum pouches. They offer minimal protection but are less expensive to manufacture.
Which One Should I Use?
Before asking which one you should choose, ask how much protection you want. Some products require rigid packaging, and there is no way around it. Other products could benefit from both styles. For example, you can sell a jar or a bag of nuts.
Both styles will enclose the product, but one offers more protection than the other. Other items will require styles, like cartons, which fall under rigid packaging. You want to avoid denting or damaging these products, especially if they have carton printing on them. Customers won’t be able to read the logo and information properly.
